Someone who is currently down at the Dance Palace told me they could use donations of bedding, bottled water, snacks and volunteers. (Please let me know if I have that wrong, this is unofficial).

The Dance Palace is temporarily sheltering people until the school is open. If anyone is able to donate the following it would be very much appreciated:
-Adults diapers
-children's diapers size 4
-dog food
Also, if anyone is going over the hill we have had many requests for face masks (the hardware store in town is out)

via CHPMarin - SUSPECT IN CUSTODY: "Thank you everyone for all of the tips and information regarding the bicycle collision on Point Reyes-Petaluma Road on Saturday morning. Your help has proven invaluable yet again. We received numerous tips that lead us to a house in Novato where our officers located the vehicle involved in the collision. Shortly before midnight, approximately 12 hours after the collision, Marin CHP officers along with members of our Investigative Services Unit placed the driver under arrest." FULL STORY:

HELP NEEDED: "Four bicyclists participating in a group ride in West Marin on Saturday were struck and injured by a vehicle that fled the scene. Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding the driver of a midnight blue, crew cab Dodge Ram that is believed to have intentionally struck the bicyclists participating in the organized bike ride. The injuries suffered varied among the bicyclists, whose identities were not available Saturday afternoon. One cyclist who suffered "major injuries" was taken by helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital." FULL STORY:

"Update: Possible sighting today on Chimney Rock Trail. We received a phone call from a good samaritan indicating they may have seen dog in the distance while hiking Chimney Rock Trail. My husband went straight there, he happened to be in Sebastopol at the time, but could not find anything. People in the area please keep your eyes peeled!"

From Marin County Sheriff: "Recently, we received a report of wildlife that was found dead of mysterious causes. The wildlife was located in different areas of open space throughout the county. Based on past experiences, we've found the cause is often illegal marijuana growers that use toxic chemicals that impact our environment. The Marin County Sheriff's Marijuana Eradication Team (MET) responded with an eradication mission along with our partners: State Park Rangers, National Park Rangers, and Fish & Wildlife. Together, we were successful in locating two different growing sites that contained fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation tubing, growing marijuana, and garbage. We confiscated the plants along with the harmful chemicals to limit additional environmental damage and wildlife deaths. We appreciate our partners and the positive difference we make together."
