After hearing so many stories of foul smelling squid transport trucks, we experienced one today. WMF was grabbing a snack at invernessparkmarket and on the way back home we saw an innocuous semi-trailer truck heading towards us on SFD. We wondered if it was full of dead squid from the grounded squid boat in Point Reyes and sure enough, right after it passed us, a truly horrible smell filled the car. I wonder how many more truckloads to go and how ripe must that squid be after baking in the heat?
