Going to be an amazing weekend with so much going on. A few events to look out for:
- The 15th annual Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival is happening this weekend and includes an opening reception at 65 Third St. Suite 12 in Point Reyes Station tonight at 5pm with lots of local artists and photographers.
- "Spring Cleaning", a two-day exhibition of handcrafted knives by Everett Noel at the Blunk Space in Point Reyes Station on Friday and Saturday from 11am to 5pm.
- 10x10 Performance Lab and Variety Show starts tonight at 7pm at the Dance Palace Church Space in Point Reyes Station featuring 10 performers doing 10 minutes of awesomeness.
- A holiday craft fair at Toby's Feed Barn in Point Reyes Station from 10am to 4pm on Saturday.
- Artist Ambrose Leite has a show at the Artiquity Gallery in Inverness on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm.
- A celebration of Point Reyes Light former editor Dave Mitchell's life and work takes place from 1:30pm to 4pm at Toby's Feed Barn in Point Reyes Station on Sunday.

Car accident on PR/Petaluma Rd.

At approx 3pm today, units responded to a call from a boater whose boat capsized on Tomales Bay. 6 adults & 1 child were rescued from the water where they were clinging to an overturned boat. All parties were transported & evaluated by paramedics. All suffered from cold exposure.

#TRAFFICALERT: Caltrans is removing a large, uprooted Eucalyptus tree on State Route 1 in @maringov between Tomales and Marshall. The highway is scheduled to be closed in both directions until about 5 p.m. today (Friday) due to the need of a large crane.

According to Dennis Rodini, this new attraction will boost local business revenue in West Marin. It will also cement our reputation as a 'tourist destination' which will increase short term rental revenue and outside investment. If you have thoughts about this project, there will be hearing today, April 1, behind the portapotties in Point Reyes Station.
